ARE YOU MY FRIEND?

Candidly, I’m not certain what the objective of this piece is.  Maybe I just want to gripe.  Several recent events have caused me to question the sanity of our current existence. The cops are now the bad guys and the criminals are protected from justice.  I wonder how the mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, would react if her daughter or granddaughter were raped, murdered and chopped up by someone who is illegally in the country?  And isn’t this the same mayor who was out of the country while her city was on fire not that long ago?

And can you believe the flood . . .probably not a good analogy right now . . . of lawsuits in the media.  I recently read an article concerning a suit against the Sig Sauer weapons company.  A widow is suing, stating that the gun killed her husband!  We’ll probably see one soon against the Ford Motor Company because the car caused the death.  As I’ve mentioned previously, our justice system is in critical condition; however, the Ambulance Chasing Lawyers United are in excellent spirits.

And the weather has been crazy.  The flood in Texas killed a more than a hundred, many of them children.  The Carolinas and New Mexico were also hard hit.  I just read about a monsoon in the Phoenix area where we once lived.  A scooter operator provided video of the damage there, although it’s too soon to determine injuries.  I’ve always been skeptical.  I often wonder if climate change is real . . .

And, measles are back, the largest outbreak since 1994 has over seven hundred cases already reported.  The primary region is the southwest with numerous incidents in Texas and New Mexico; however, several other states are also making reports.  Children are the primary target.  The medical world is flummoxed.  Here’s a thought; is it possible that the fact that our southern border was fully open for years may have contributed to the outbreak?  Nah, it’s probably Trump’s fault . . .

I think I’ve brought this concern up previously that thousands of acres of our farmland are owned by . . . the Chinese!  Is it just a coincidence that these properties are located near our restricted military facilities?  No one seemed particularly concerned during the last administration.  What do you suppose the response would be if an American were to approach a Chinese Consulate and attempt to purchase a thousand acres of Chinese farmland near one of their military bases?  The Biden Administration’s relationship with China is worrisome at the very least.

And our old friend, Jeffrey Epstein is back like a case of VD.  The question of whether there is a “list” is confusing to say the least.  As you know. Pam Bondi indicated that the list was on her desk which got her in deep doodoo  before she retracted. Both Trump and the FBI were very angry.  Deputy Director Dan Bongino has stated that he will resign if Bondi isn’t fired.  Candidly, I would be surprised if she lasts out this term, although Trump speaks highly of her.

Elon Musk continues his rant.  From what I’ve been able to determine, I think he has a bunch of busted toys in the attic.  Close associates say that he is unpredictable and often switches sides on an issue.  The fracas with President Trump is typical Musk.

This is also the anniversary of the attempted assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania and the media has questions yet to  be answered.  I’m not certain they ever will be.  The Secret Service is catching most of the heat and probably should be.  As most of you know, I had a business relationship with the Secret Service for many years and found them to be excellent and capable investigators.

I cannot comprehend how twenty-year-old Thomas Crooks was able to accomplish what he did despite the fact that numerous shouts from the spectators that “a man was on the roof”.  He was also previously seen in possession of a range finder and acting suspiciously by law enforcement!  And Crooks’ body was cremated very shortly afterward despite the ongoing investigation.  Just doesn’t sit well . . .

What do you think?
